 Rating: - If you're on a Hindustani tip......the Suketu Mehta's MAXIMUM CITY -- a book about Bombay and its colourful characters -- is definitely for you! Okay, I admit, I'm on a bit of an "Indian tip" of late. So sue me! See, I actually wanted to firm up a review of this book for a very long time now. What you're about to read is sadly overdue to the tune of eight (8) months or more, truth be told. I'd long-known about Mehta's spectacular book during a podcast from the equally-stellar Radio Netherlands website. I'd heard it while running up a hamster-like storm on the treadmill somewhere in Vancouver.
