 Rating: - Good guide; needs a few improvementsI recently used this book in Shaghai and it was very useful. I like the fact that the names of the places that are highlighted have the Chinese characters. This is particularly useful for disambiguation if you need to ask someone for more information. I wish the pinyin romanization would have the tone markers though as that would make it easier for those who speak some Chinese and would like to be able to pronounce the place names correctly when asking for information. I also used the two 90-Minute Walk guides for Shanghai and found that some of the places mentioned along the walk were not always easy to find. In fact, some of the mentioned places I never found.
