 Rating: - Great software but not supported on 64 bit VistaThe software is great however its claim at being fully supported on the Vista OS can be a little misleading. Just purchased a new laptop and this software to go with it under the assumption that it would work. Only to find out it will not run on the Vista 64 bit operating system. Rating:  - Great, once you get the hang of it!I've been using this program for months now and it works really well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I found it frustrating at first. Even after undergoing all the required training, it wasn't working well for me. But I stuck with it and just kept using it. Over time it became much more accustomed to my voice. I'd definitely recommend it to buy. Just make sure not to get too frustrated at first because it will get better. Rating:  - Included media incompatible with windows vista.The manufactures website falsely claims that this product works with windows vista. It does not. None of the media in the box installs on vista. They give you a web link on a piece of paper where you can download a special copy of the program that works with some versions of vista (32-bit only). Unfortunately the ad hoc update does not support my 64-bit copy of vista. This misinformation is very unfortunate. You would not expect this kind of deception from such an established software company. Rating:  - Wow! So easy to use and very accurate.This program is amazing! As promised, no training was necessary and, immediately I was able to dictate into MSN messenger, with no mistakes. This made chatting a breeze! Next, I opened Internet Explorer and surfed the web. I have used previous versions of Dragon Naturally Speaking before but this time the improvements in accuracy are outstanding. I spend a lot of time on my computer daily and now find this a tool that increases my productivity and lessens the stress on my hands. Working in Word and other programs is much more productive now that I'm using Dragon Naturally Speaking Standard 9. |
