 Rating: - Not greatI love Charley Boorman and the whole crew from 'Long Way Down' (and Round), so I was looking forward to 'Race to Dakar'. While it was fun to watch, it was still a bit of a disappointment. There's a lot of time wasted on the introductory segments and flashbacks and they used the same clips over and over. The soundtrack was terrible. Once Charley has his fall, the plot gets lost completely. Charley, admittedly, spends the rest of the time running around and clucking after his team. I did like Simon and Matt's story, it just got lost in bad editing. Overall, it was more of lovable, affable Charley, but it wasn't up to the same standard as LWD/R. |
