Rating: - Better than ExpectedIt's not often that I sit down to a movie and am pleasantly surprised by the lack of gratuitous violence, sex, and profanity, so when a movie comes along like Bella, with such a strong story, great acting and wonderful scenery, I'm just so grateful that there are people still trying to make art. The dynamic of this movie changes from heart-wrenching drama to light comedy and back seamlessly. The acting is so fantastic, even from the supporting characters, especially Angélica Aragón. This movie pulls you into the characters, into their story, and even into their home where you can almost smell the food cooking on the stove. Buy this movie. It's hard to avoid cliches when writing about Bella because it wears its heart on it's sleeve. It's a movie with heart, a message, a purpose and lot's of love. The acting is amazing. The chemistry between the two lead actors Eduardo and Tammy is real. With a lot of mindless "garbage" out in theatres and available on DVD this is must have. Do yourself a favor and buy this DVD and share it with friends and family. |
