Never heard of it.The Zune is probably one of the best personal audio devices to come out. I was looking for an iPod alternative after many frustrating sessions with iTunes and my iPod 160GB Classic. I decided on the Zune because of the larger screen, limited wireless capabilities (Sync & Social only), and built-in FM tuner. Also further research on a few well regarded audio-centric forums indicated that the Zune offered a somewhat superior audio playback quality. After many tests with some of my reference MP3 files I can attest that yes the audio is better than the iPod's. As long as your encoded files are up to snuff that is. I have added 150 albums so far - I added maybe 20 at a time and then connected the Zune to sync them. Radio inside is not so great but fine outdoors. I am not fond of the ear buds but they give great sound - I just find they are always falling out. Am a little disappointed that Zune Markeplace is not available in Canada - this needs to be pointed out betetr on the Zune web site. Now that the second generation models are out, they corrected past mistakes and have made one of the best digital media players money can buy. Firstly, the look and size of the player. It is slightly smaller than the 30 gig, and the front has been replaced with a squircle Zune pad that is touch sensitive and works very well. Simply brush your finger up or down the pad to scroll through menus, adjust volume or browse, and left or right to switch songs fast forward etc. The pad can also be used as a button if you so desire.
