.Cookbook from Amish Kitchens: Meats by: Phyllis Pellman Good, Phillis Pellman Good, Rachel Thomas Pellman 1996-11 This book is truley amazing! My husband will not eat dinner without meat. My daughter will only eat chicken. And my son is allergic to Veal. You might see my dellema now. I could never find any meals that the entire family would enjoy. Until I found this book. You will adore it from the start. We live near amish neighborhood, because we live out in the country. Who said that these are resipies they have been enjoying fro years! At first I thought nothing would work for my family but I tried it any way and found it to have the most popular dishes in the house! We use this book for dinners at least 4 times a week! .My Husband, Rock Hudson by: Phyllis Gates, Bob Thomas July 14, 1988 Phyllis Gates was a secretary for an important Hollywood agent/image-maker in the fifties. One of his clients was Rock Hudson; they met at work, started dating, and before you could say, "Pillow Talk," they were married. Right away Rock was withdrawn and secretive; there were mysterious phone calls, he wouldn't say where he'd been when he went out, and in fact, he barely spoke to her at all. They had nothing in common and divorced after three years. This poorly-written, self-aggrandizing piece was written in 1987, two years after Hudson's death and thirty years after their divorce. It's anyone's guess why she wrote it, but I'd guess money had a lot to do with it. It's page after page of name-dropping and calling famous people "friends" ...
