I understand the other reviewer's complaints about the story. And I would have to agree with the point that christopher has seemed to have forgotten some of his details and has perhaps paid less attention to them than in prior books. However, i myself found the book fun to read and have no complaints about a choppy writing style. Also there are not near as many "dwarf politics" as you might expect from some other reviews. I didn't think that the book was dragging on or that there were holes in the plot. However, as soon as you start reading you know there is no way he will finish the story in three books. I suppose he could have tightened the plot some but personally i don't mind the low points between minor climax. I have not experianced ... Read More:

This is my first review. Ever. I had to write something after I finished losing my 8 hours.

In the first place, Twilight itself was just a "fun" book for me, sheer unabashed escapism. Escape time from course readings. I felt the need to own the whole series after purchasing the first. Now I just wish I'd spent the money on groceries.

Breaking Dawn is horrible for all the reasons people have listed...Shallow, one-dimensional herione, Gaping plot holes, ridiculous ponies and rainbows ending, terrible writing and etc. But what really irked me was that I got this pervading sense of the author's ego growing just as swiftly as the tragically named "Renesmee" during the books. My hairdresser told me to read this book and I'm glad she did, I find it hard these days to read anything around 2 kids & a husband but I just couldn't put this book down. I only finished the Twilight last night and I can't wait to start reading the next book... I'm hooked.

I have to admit i had high expectations for this book, i read twilight and LOVED it but when i read this...i was bored and got to the point where i put the book down and called my friend [who had previously read new moon] and got her to explain the chapters up until when edward comes back, thats when the book becomes good again...i dislike jacob a lot, when you get to the 4th book you'll understand...i especially hate how he treats edward, just so everyone knows when you read this book scan through the pages...dont let the whole 'its a major in the next book' thing scare you, because its not.

This book is a classic! I read it all the time when I was younger and still like it now. Even though I'm older now my mom will still quote things from this book to me. I think all kids enjoy Robert Munch but this is one of the best! It's an awesome story of how things can go wrong when you use pernament markers...

It is a great book with beautiful illustrations. Really funny. I loved the way Stephanie outmaneuvered all the other kids at the end of the story. The only other book that I had so much fun with was the second book of the series "Why Some Cats are Rascals". Especially the third part of the book titled Cats Alone.

This was one of my favourites as a child, and now that I've reached the ripe old age of 19, I still read it now and then. This book is brilliantly written from a kid's point of view (i.e. "juice tastes better in the red cup"), so all kids will enjoy it. I thought it was a nice touch that Kelly's mom lost patience about having everything red. That is SO true!

And just for the record, my red sweater keeps me warmer, my red mitts make better snowballs, my red shoes make my feet dance, my red socks make my toes wiggle.....
