I was skeptical when my coworker loaned me this book. She said every dog lover has a "Marley" in their past. But from the first page, I was hooked.

"Marley and Me" had me laughing out loud (in the strangest places) and crying shamelessly in others. This book is brilliantly written and flows seamlessly. I was lost for hours in this beautiful story that John Grogan brought to life for me.

What am amazing tribute to man's best friend.

I highly recommend this book to anyone - dog lover or not. You won't be sorry.

I checked this book out of library when my first child was a baby. I now use AskDrSears.com website. This book is very comprehensive and a good reference book from attachment parenting perspective. I would also recommend to read about other perspectives.

If you need to go back to work then you may find that some ideas are not practical, but overall it is a good book. It talks a lot about breastfeeding, carrying your baby in a sling and co-sleeping. Sears don't tell you that you are a bad parent if you are not following all the ideas, they tell you to find what is best for your baby AND you. If it offends you or makes you feel guilty to hear a lot about attachment parenting, then this book may not be for you.

I bought this book as well as the Ferber Method book. I wanted to be well researched. What I loved about this book was the compassionate side. It is written from a mother's perspective rather than a science perspective. It doesn't promise fast results, but give practical tips to the frustrated mother. After 11 days my daughter was sleeping from about 8pm at night until 8am the next morning and only waking at 1am to nurse. It also turned me on to attachment parenting, to which I also bought (and reviewed on this site) Dr. Sears' Attachment Parnting book. I recommend both. THey have totally changed my parenting style for the better.

This is an excellent book if:
- you want to spend the first 100-odd pages reading about Cesar's biography. Since I did not know anything about him, I found it very interesting.
- you did not understand the pack theroy as Cesar explains it very well
- if you are already following along his series on TV and the book helps as a reminder and guide.

I only rated this book a 3 because I do not have access to the TV show as I live in Canada. I purchased to book to learn how to tweak my dog owning skills. Luckily for me (or should I say my dogs) I understand the pack theory.

This book is a must read for every Canadian household.

Without being preaching, it offers countless tips on how you can live a healthier lifestyle while having less of an impact on planet Earth.

The book is organized in practical themes which allow for a reading by clusters, as well as going back to a certain chapter before heading for a shopping trip... it will allow you to make an informed decision as a consumer.

The writing style is witty, there is a good use of textboxes...

One of the best books I have ever put my hands on.

This book is dessert for the eye and the mouth. The table of contents is creatively designed to show you a picture of the cookie and it organizes them into cookie type. So far I have tried 7 different cookie types to great success and I plan to do more very soon. The instructions are easy to follow. The back of the cookbook has examples of useful tools, decorating materials and packaging ideas. Some of the cookies I have tried are the Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies, the Chocolate Thumbprint and the Chocolate Pistachio cookies. Some of the cookies are easy and some are more difficult to prepare, but even if you only make a few (there are 175 recipes to try) it is well worth it.

This would be the one! Not only is the book packed with priceless information, it's beautiful to look at. It really does cover most aspects of the skills you are likely to need as you move toward self sufficiency. It will also humble you. I was shocked by what I didn't even know I didn't know! How could I have made it this far without knowing such simple, logical and essential knowledge!?

I haven't bought my land yet, but I've been trying some of the techniques described in this book. It's just incredible. We have been sold a lie by governments and corporations and this book is an operations manual for undoing that lie and setting things right in the world. I couldn't recommend any book any more emphatically than this one.

I first found this book in the library, and was enjoying cooking from it so much that I didn't want to take it back. I've gone and gotten myself a copy, and cooked many of the recipes from it, and each one has been delicious and fairly simple to make. The instructions are clear, and as others have mentioned, she's a very engaging and amusing writer. I have a lot of cookbooks, but this has quickly become a favorite.

I have no idea why I purchased this book in the first place.
I am SO glad I did!

Peter Walsh's book has shown me how I have been running my life - cluttered and collecting stuff to fill every room I own.

My husband and I have very busy lives. If we invite anyone over, it takes two days to prepare the house for guests which usually means I shove things in to another room and shut the door. I think Peter has some how seen my lifestyle and named his book after my living condition, "It's all too Much", lol.

I purchase stuff for the sake of how much money I saved. I purchase stuff to make me feel better. I purchase just for the sake of purchasing!
