Jon Kabat-Zinn is an excellent and highly trained scientist and it shows in this book. He definitely has a very wide variety of knowledge not just on meditation itself. I just love how he relates to quotes from buddhism, taoism and other famous classics throughout the book. It impresses me a lot because these quotes are deep but very suitable and are there to help your understanding but NOT to show off his knowledge. It takes very high level of expertise and effort to make things precise and accessible like this. Definitely a 5 star work!

PS. A quote from Lao Tzu he chose in this book has impressed me so much that I choose to live a very "taoist" life myself!

Amazing book for anyone that has lived a difficult life. In my case I was a victim of abuse. This book has done so much for me. I am enlightened and inspired to move forward with my life.

Relationships are important. Especially for wemen. This is a great book about relationships. If you need a good advice in this aspect of your life I strongly recommend getting this book among other titles. It's good to study what other have said in order to improve such areas of humanity as falling in love, making love, making sure that your personal life does not intefere with your business, etc. It is a great reading indeed. I thank Robert Kiyosaki for the teachings he's shared in the book in regards to the simplification (oversimplification could be argued yes) of the financial systems available - and the patterns of how to break free of the rat race.

This is the book that convinced me that I could go out there and make a million dollars a year on my own gumption, and it's because of this book that I'm where I am today. Running my own business and enjoying passive income.

On the flip side however, MLM's are not the greatest method to reach financial freedom - but they are a great teaching ground for the basics of marketing and sales. With roughly 260 pages and seven chapters (including the conclusion), "Blink" is a well-written and insightful book on the subject of accurate "snap judgment" or two-second of "looking." This book gives us, the reader, a great deal of information about our "moment" to see things accurately, either in quick reaction, warnings, reading strangers, as it is very much like "gut" feelings or first impressions.

I personally found this book to be quite fascinating and insightful to which I enjoyed both Gladwell's flowing writing style and his clear organization. It took me a good few hours to read it as I could not put the book down. To understand our "snap" judgment is to reach an understanding of how basic a human being really is. These books are not just for younge people. I bought the first one, Twilight, for my husband for our 'paper' anniversary and no one has been able to put the books down since. Everyone we have recommended/loaned the books to are smitten!!!!!! Amazingly good!
I also recomend Meyer's other novel The Host!

So far this cookbook is one of my favorites. Ive made the Tuskinny Chicken, Lord of The Wings and Lick Your Chops from this cookbook and all were delicious! Ive been working hard to drop some weight for the summer, and so far these recipes have been a great help in eating healthy. On top of all of that, the best part for me was how easy the recipes were to make. Thanks Janet and Greta for a fantastic cookbook!

This book is a wonderful classic from Robert Munsch however this version is tiny! I didn't realize it when I bought it, but it arrived today all 2X2 inches square of it! I love the story but wish I'd bought a much bigger book. :(

This book is a wonderful classic from Robert Munsch however this version is tiny! I didn't realize it when I bought it, but it arrived today all 2X2 inches square of it! I love the story but wish I'd bought a much bigger book. :(

This very funny story reminds me of my kids who always manage to get muddy each and every time they go to play. Like Jule Ann they rarely admit that they actually jumped in the mud. This is my sons favorite Munsch book. We have several that we collect. Our other favorite author is Boszenna Nowiki with her series Why Some Cats are Rascals.
