While the internet is virtually an (almost) unlimted source for information about any country, it is also an overload of too much information ... that is when you need a guide to help you sort it all out. Lonely Planet does *just* *this* for anyone who is interested in visiting and touring Hungary. I have been to Hungary three times in the past five years and was delighted to discover this wonderful book. While my primary purpose was to visit relatives, the opportunity to visit historical sites and experience the culture is always foremost in my mind. Since most vacations are limited to 2, 3 or 4 weeks - you need to know where to find what interests you and make the most of your European vacation. This is the primary purpose of this book.

I have two shelves full of photography books and this is one of my favorites.

The book offers a very good explanation of the basics and some interesting ideas for the more experienced photographer. I liked the pictures very much and they gave me quite a few ideas for my own photography.

The extremely compact format of the book makes it easy to carry next to your guide when traveling.

The fancy of going to Vienna next summer crossed my mind more than once so I decided to pick this up just to get some more information on the City of Music. It's a very concise book that can be easily toted around in a bag or pocket, which I immediately liked because should I go I would want to keep it on hand. I liked the layout for places to stay, going from campgrounds to hostels, to the hotels, going from one star to five. It has a great listing for restaurants and has the city pretty much covered in respects to places to visit and a calendar of events, which makes planning a trip a lot easier. if you're thinking of travelling to moscow, buy this. if you're going to moscow, and you don't have this book, buy it now. you'll need it. there's a map of the city, odd facts and tells you everything to check out and how to budget while you're there.
