I had previously seen and purchased the Live in Dublin DVD, and was looking to expand my "collection". Some of the comments posted here made me think twice about this selection, especially regarding the video quality.
Eventhough the video is not the best, I found the program to be excellent, and in fact watched it 3 times when I first got it! The poor video quality and constant angle changes mentioned by other reviewers was not really a detriment in my opinion, because the program is otherwise very enjoyable. The extended encores are especially enjoyable, where the orchestra diverts from classical music to popular songs from around the globe, and has the crowd literally dancing in the aisles.

I was anxious to see that show. Unfortunatly there was lots of distraction during the showing. This is an on stage off stage show. It keeps moving around all the time so you don't get that intimate feeling which we are used to with Andre. Too many views of Wonderland disturbed my viewing

I like Andre Rieu's DVDs. I would recommend you to just pick any disc as long as it's Andre Rieu's, because I'm very sure you will like anyone of them. However, you must beware of one thing. The disc, Tuscany, is the same as the other disc called, Romantic Paradise. In the other words, if you really wants to see the review of this disc; you can view it under Romantic Paradise. I like Andre Rieu's DVDs. I would recommend you to just pick any disc as long as it's Andre Rieu's, because I'm very sure you will like anyone of them. However, you must beware of one thing. If you're a fan of his music, you should greatly enjoy this DVD.
I know it was recorded "live", but a little editing would have eliminated or at least reduced, the roar of the audience between each song. It detracts from the product, and I found myself muting the audio in between each piece. I mean, it goes on and on!

I have 5 DVD's with Andre Rieu and Johann Strauss Orchestra.
4 of them are recordings of his concerts in Dublin, London,
Cortona, Vienna. I love them all, but I thing DREAMING is very
special. Music recorded on this DVD is so beautiful and the
scenery so spectacular. I think DREAMING is simply wonderful.
My nine years old son loves it too. This is my favourite work of
Andre Rieu.
