. Belly of the Beast
starring: Patrick Robinson, Steven Seagal, Byron Mann, Tom Wu, Vincent Riottadirected by: Ching Siu Tung
December 30, 2003
I have read reviews about Seagal and his movies and I don't see anything good mentioned. His movies never claimed to be "high art" or have a lot a lot of special effects. You get plain, solid action. I really like Belly of the Beast. Steven was very good. The Foreigner will make you laugh until you can't breath. He kills one guy and he keeps coming back. In the belly of the beast he is unrelenting in getting his daughter back. Review of his movies talk about Seagal's bad acting and that is not the case in this movie. The girl who is his daughter might be guilty of bad acting but not Seagal. Judging but his reviews everyone thinks he sucks. If he does why do you keep going back and watching the movies? I say if you can't write a decent, ... Read More:

starring: Yun-Fat Chow, Mark Wahlberg, Ric Young, Paul Ben-Victor, Jonkit Leedirected by: James Foley

I loved the confrantation that Danny Wallace had with his dad about the contemplation of what to do about turning in his partner Nick Chen .. I won't spoil the quote you have to take it in context of the scenario of the movie. What an impact it made in my life that what I do in my life will be what I live with. I don't know if I over looked the goings on with Nick Chen because after all he was Yun-Fat Chow or that his over looking Uncle Benny's activities was some how a kindness to help May a lost drug addict and prostitute unable to escape her fate he tries to be more then a cop in her heart. The entire movie was tastefully done, story line excellant, directed in a way to make you laugh, cry, sit at the edge of you chair during those action scenes. Not to mention ... Read More:

i don't understand why so many people hated or disliked the movie
Catwoman.i thought it was a fun movie to watch.the acting was pretty
good.i liked the villain.there was lots of action and i loved the
music.also,Halley berry is very sexy and looked great in the Catwoman
costume.i liked the mysticism involving cats.i thought that was
unique.i also like the fact that instead of the usual male villain,we
have a strong female villain, played by Sharon stone.she did a good job
in the role,i thought.i liked how Catwoman was self conflicted about
being evil versus being good and the seduction it held.i bought this
movie and have watched it more than once. i enjoyed it and will watch
it again. 3.5/5

. There Was a Crooked Man
starring: Bart Burns, Jeanne Cooper, Hume Cronyn, Ann Doran, Gene Evansdirected by: Joseph L. Mankiewicz
December 19, 2006
A purposefully crass, low-brow, yet engaging Western comedy-drama featuring Kirk Douglas as a ne'er-do-well, debonnaire robber whose half-million dollar heist lands him in a miserable desert prison, which, of course, he is determined to break out of. Henry Fonda shows up as the newly-appointed, socially progressive warden who spars with this untameable scoundrel, and the two western movie icons have a good time matching wits in this antiheroic romp. It's not a great flick; the transgressive humor is very much of its time, but it is notable for the surprisingly sympathetic portrayal of two gay convicts who are part of Douglas's escape team... they in fact turn out to be the unlikely heroes of the film, which is as unexpected as it is refreshing.
