I have Jillian's book "Making the cut" and the workouts in the book are tough, but having a video with the queen of mean pushing you through the hard parts is even better! I have been involved in fitness for the majority of my life and these three work outs are hard. I am on my 7th day - 23 more days of this seems impossible! All in all, after 30 days of this workout you will be 'shredded'!

I had gotten a beginners yoga dvd a few years ago and from that dvd (that you had to use blocks etc), I was completely turned off yoga thinking it wasnt for me and decided to switch to Tai Chi. Looking for a more advanced tai chi dvd, I saw this dvd and something about the cover and reviews made me want to try it again. And now I LOVE yoga! I like how she makes it like aerobics/dancing and I dont need blocks or even a mat (I just do it on my hardwood floor). The scenery is beautiful with the sea and there are so many exercises, hours and hours of stuff on this dvd and not just a couple routines like my first yoga dvd and even the tai chi one. I highly recommend it!

This is a great workout for beginners and advanced level exercisers. I have been doing workout dvds for about 2 years and was looking for a new challenge and I definietly found one. Bob Harper is a great trainer and is very motivating along with the other trainers on the dvd. There is a lot of jumping in the dvd (jumping jacks, jump rope, power lunges) but he shows how to do them at low intensity and one of the people is always at low intensity. I find it also very motivating to see "real" people doing the exercises and not pencil thin people. Overall a great workout!

This is an excellent buy. The exercises are for your first, second and third trimester with variations for each trimester. The video is relaxing and not too "airy fairy". My first birth was an easy labour with no epidural -- I attribute some of my luck to this video which I religiously did about twice a week during my pregnancy. You will not be disappointed!

I was HIGHLY disappointed in this DVD. The workouts are just not as restorative as I had hoped from the title etc. There were too many active workouts. I was sleepless one night so I tried the insomnia sequence and I couldn't BELIEVE she had DOWNWARD DOG on there! Oh MY GOODNESS! You don't do active poses that get your blood pumping when needing to relax and sleep.
BUT, she is a very good, in fact EXCELLENT teacher for sure.

Okay, anyone who truly wants a workout, do NOT buy this DVD! (Cardio Kickbox) This was ridiculous. It was only like 15-20 minutes and I didn't break a sweat at all. She doesn't count to music or keep you moving at all. And she's so into herself and her "crew", and too busy giggling to keep you motivated at all. She repeatedly says before the workout how difficult it's going to be, so I was expected to get my butt kicked. I was extremely disappointed. Do not waste your money! I'm sticking with my Billy Blanks Taebo videos.

In addition to the fabulous value (three full workouts on one DVD), these workouts are amazing. I had been doing yoga for a while and felt the need for a challenge and something new. These workouts are wonderful. I had honestly never felt so tired and unbelievably stretched and loose until I did Bryan's practices. The first one wasn't too hard for me, just lovely. The second one is challenging for me--I work HARD. The third one is advanced and I will have to practice a lot to master it. So there is something for every level. The production values are wonderful, which is a nice surprise for a somewhat older video. I love this DVD! It is very creative and I really feel a burn after I do these workouts. I guess as an added bonus I feel relaxed as well. The practices are interesting and creative. The best part is that I feel much more toned and in shape. Great DVD!
