Robert Downey Jnr is without a doubt one of the finest actors of this or any other generation. Problem is due to some personal problems in the past he wasn't getting the big roles anymore. The studio was reluctant to place him in the starring role of this movie... and then they saw his audition... HE IS IRON MAN!

Without a doubt no other actor could have played Tony Stark better than Robert Downey Jnr and along with a very talented supporting cast (including Gweneth Paltrow, Terrance Howard and Jeff Bridges) plus a very talented director (Jon Favreau) this is Iron Man brought the life the right way!

I have been trying to remember the first time I saw Walt Disney's "Sleeping Beauty," and I cannot remember if I ever saw it in a theater, caught it on television some time, or never sat down to watch it until it came out on videotape. What I did remember is not being particularly impressed by the movie. Certainly I did not consider it to be a classic Disney animated film like "Bambi" or "Cinderella," which is a way of saying that it was not on my "must have" list of Disney movies. Then I watched this 50th Anniversary Platinum Edition of "Sleeping Beauty" and all I can say is that however I saw this film for the first time it was NOT in this expanded version that has restored the original Super Technirama 70 dimensions of the film. They might have gotten a little lazy with this sequel but this film was alright. The opening scene is incredible, as we return to the warehouse last seen at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Here we see Indiana Jones for the first time since Last Crusade: Older, Wiser, and more mature. But the man can still use his whip. The thing with Crystal Skull that I really loved was that this is a different Indy. If you go in to this movie expecting to see some crazy stunts like in the previous films then you won't be satisfied. Indiana has settled down. He is in his 60's. We know what he is capable of. "Iron Man" is a comic book movie telling the story of billionaire arms and weaponry mastermind Tony Stark, who after being in the Lion's den of Afghanistan and realizing how much harm his weapons cause the world, quits the arms business, creating a costume and becoming an avenger.

Good special effects, fabulous performance by Robert Downey Jr., this movie is amongst the best super hero movies of recent times. It never really wavers during its 2-hour length time. There's a high degree of social conscience to this movie and the lead actor's emotional transformation is fascinating to watch.

One of them must be "Blade Runner in its many varied and excellent versions. This film is what sci-fi is all about. Instead of wasting time on gratuitous blood squirting, the story is much deeper with not only a message but a question.

This dvd hasn't been released yet, so why would anybody review it? More to the point, why am I reviewing it right now? Well, just to tell you that you should buy it, as I'm going to.

I saw every episode of this second season of "Bones" up to this point, and I'm happy to say that it is even better than the first. From my point of view, this great tv series combines originality, interesting whodunnits and characters that make you laugh, and sometimes even think more than usual. It is entertainment, but good entertainment, the kind you can recommend to others, exactly what I'm doing right now :)
