It's a pretty good rock cd. Of course, the highly anticipated Rob Pattinson song had to fall short. Guitar was awesome, vocals not so great-embarassing, actually. It sounds like his nose is being pinched by a clothespin. I would like to hear some other vocal pieces from him to really decide if I would listen to him or not. Also, the lullaby isn't strictly a piano piece as written in the book, it's an orchestral arrangement-also a disappointment. It sounded nice, just not what I was led to expect.

I have seen the movie, Mamma Mia, four times and will probably continue to see it weekly as long as it is playing. Just like the movie, this CD is so much fun to listen to. As I listen to the songs - actually blast them in my car and sing along - I relive the movie. It does, as the other reviews say, capture the fun and lightheartedness of the movie. Christine Baranski does a mean version of Does Your Mother Know and Pierce Brosnan was so brave singing but you have to admit he adds a real touch of sexiness to SOS in the movie and I also relive that in the CD. Each of the actors adds their own unique and personal touches to these songs and they are a delight to listen to. The only disappointment is that they didn't include Chiquitita and ... Read More:

Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons rock! This group was a few years ahead of my time, so while I was familiar with their music it I have to admit to not being a huge fan, nor knowing much about the group's history until I saw the musical in Seattle last week. Now I'm hooked! While this recording is a studio version and not from the live show, the songs are spot on and you'll feel like you are right back there watching the musical again. You will find yourself humming the songs from this CD long after you've put it away.

This is a wonderful little collection of songs and songs sketches. Clocking in at just over a half and hour it hints a the potential for a much more grand, large scale development of this type of music in the future.

Length aside, this is a wonderful album. A treat for pearl jam lovers and haters alike. The music is a new turn for Vedder. Sure it had precidents in songs like "the strangest tribe" "footsteps" and "off he goes", but the feel and texture of these works are different.

I watched this movie last night, by chance, having never heard of it before, and the one thing that really captivated me was the music. It's beautiful. Not too polished, but full of heart.
