We have seen artists run out of creative juices after a string of success. Not The Offspring. I was skeptical when I heard that The Offspring latest CD, Rise And Fall Rage And Grace, was good. To my surprise, this CD played flawlessly from beginning to end.

Track number 9 "It Is Messed Up" is an instant hit. Others, such as tracks 1, 3, 4, and 5 will certainly grow on you. The Offspring were able to retain their punk-rock style yet give us something new and fresh. If you enjoyed their music in the past, you will certainly not be disappointed with this CD.

but it is my extremely entertaining, albeit "contrived" concert event. But that is not a bad thing ! as the resulting DVD manages to capture the energy and talent of a truly great American band. If I could go back in time, one of my first destinations would be the CBGB in New York City, 1977, to see the Talking Heads open for the Ramones. Obviously the Talking Heads stole every show, which is probably why the Ramones disliked them so much !

I listen to this cd before sleep. It has a smoothing tone that you can feel as it travels through your body. It is comforting, relaxing and is an excellent choice for mediation. I have not been able to listen to the whole cd without falling asleep. When I wake up, I feel rested and refreshed.

I would recommend this CD to anyone who leads a hectic life with little or no "me" time. This cd will give you a little piece of heaven that you can look forward to.

I have been a weezer fan from the start(so like when i was 4)! Personally I think Blue Album is the best because it has great guitar parts and lyrics. I think this is a great cd for about anybody(especially if you like alt. and emo). It is great for road trips or just hanging out. If you get this cd you will love it! tracks 1,5,7,8, and the last are the best. The last track starts off quite and kinda quites down and then takes off and really starts rocking! Any weezer cd is good and you will absolutely love it all!

This is another great album from these guys. Compared to their last one, I'd say this one is jsut as good. Although much of their material sounds the same, the guitars and such, I still like this CD. The stand-out tunes for me on this album woul dhave to be Under the Knife, Prayer of the Refugee, and Worth Dying For. I can't say I really hated any track on this CD, but on Roadside, it is the band aiming for a lighter feel, but it just didn't work out for me. If they want a lighter sound, they should jsut go acoustic, like they did for 'Swing Life Away'

Over the past 3 generations, music industry executives (most with no or little musical education) have reduced the quality of popular music to the lowest common denominator. Vapid lyrics, forgettable tunes, total absence of original music composition and absolutely no innovation. The creativity well is so dry that remakes have become the norm, not the once-in-a-while. Yet, by controlling most of the radio air-play, music CDs still get sold by the millions.

The patient is supposed to be dead, his electroencephalogram flat-lined, when unpredictable spikes such as this one occur. THE BENDS is one of the rare exceptions of a great group putting out a MONUMENTAL album.

I loved listening to the first two Linkin Park albums with my kids. They loved songs like Breaking the Habit, Nobody's Listening etc. About the only one I would skip was One Step Closer (even though it ruled) because I didn't want them telling each other to shutup. However this has been killed with this album. Can't listen to it with my kids. So what fun is that? If I want to hear the f word I'll buy Green Day or something. The songs are still good but the apparent attempt to get more street cred knocks it down a few notches.
