this cd's on a lot at work, and i have to say that it isn't that bad to listen to. if left to my own devices, i would probably only listen to one or two songs of my own volition, but the cd in itself has a nice easy flow to it. some songs can be rather melancholy if you're in the appropriate mood, but on the whole i'd say it's a light-hearted, easy-going album. at the very least worth a listening to, even in passing.

I tried to make the title less corny, but it's too true to the point that there's no other way to describe it.

Whether you're new to Radiohead or an avid fan, you can't go wrong with this release. It really is bliss, absolute bliss. Each song is crafted in a delicate and incredibly melodic manner with each word coming out of Thom Yorke's mouth something that will provoke your thoughts and challenge your imagination. The band is as tight as they've ever been. Each note played here is crafted with the utmost of care yet nothing ever sounds contrived, pretentious or out of place. ... after a couple of years of waiting! Yes, "Orphan Music" was great, but the new material we fans desperately longed for, here it is at last! Now, Slean does not rush things, and we love her all the more for that: every song is a delicacy, every melody a soothing, every word a shard from the poet's heart.

It is pure Sarah Slean: what you loved in the previous albums you shall find here as well, although one might feel that "The Baroness" is indeed endowed with more maturity than her past efforts. Could it be love's omnipresence (or absence of it...) that made her turn her lyrical subjects and musical ears toward a more somber, solemn, simple source of inspiration?

A very hard album to get into, none of the instant gratification of the first 2 albums. Maybe a grower, time will tell. But if you're feeling a bit down, do not listen to this album !!!

I recently seen these guys (as well as 4 other bands) in concert. I believe that on Crue's part, it was a good move to get together with bands like Buckcherry & Sixx:AM and come out with an album. This I would say, got Motley Crue out of their hiatus, and put them back on track. All of the songs are recognizably Crue, and if you ask me it is Saints Of Los Angeles sells this CD. It was well sung by Crue as well as Josh Todd (lead singer of Buckcherry) and Jacoby Shaddix (lead sing of Papa Roach) and others involved.
I believe that Papa Roach has also benefited from being able to be a part of Crue's tour and their album SOLA, and bands such as Trapt benefit from exposure. So all in all I find this a 5 star album and recommend to Crue fans that you buy it

It may not be Madonna's best album. But it is so fun and catchy I can't help but like it. Its "Confessions On The Dancefloor" promised to (catchy, poppy...). My favorite tracks on the album are Give It 2 Me, She's Not Me and Incredible.

This concert has 3 excellent sets: acoustic, trio and full band. The acoustic version of Neon grabs your attention right away. The rest of the show is equally as good.

Yes, the old-school sound is infectious. I was pleased to learn that the production was credited to two hip-hop DJs. It gives me faith that all is not lost in music. With Mowtown/Phil Spector aura coming to the fore, it brings a refreshing sound to the pop genre, dispite the fact that it is not a new idea. It seems like more of a production homage. If you like the sound of this record, credit Winehouse's producers. They crafted the sound.

Winehouse's songwriting is frank, which is always a winner. However, when breaking down the chord choices, I found that Winehouse still has a way to go. Her chord progressions sound arbitrary and without grounding. However, her lyrics/production supercede these things in a big way.
