It was in great need of a facelift, which I think it got with this edition. The pricing is reasonnable but for most home users, iWork by Apple would be totally sufficient. The strong point: everybody uses Office. This new edition supports the new file formats. It works. The weak points: still pricy. No Leopard integration for iCal. It's aimed squarely at people who like to solve puzzles, but it should also appeal to people who like gadgets and unusual machines. The puzzles start out very easy, but get more challenging as you go on. The early puzzles are designed to teach you about the user interface, and about the function and purpose of the various crazy parts that you can build into your machines.
