.Fox and the Hound City Travel Guides > VHS > Kids and Family from: Buena Vista March 01, 1994 This is one of my favorite Disney movies. When Widow Tweed takes in a baby fox, whose mother had been shot by hunters, she names it Tod and raises it. About the same time she takes Tod in, her neighbor, Amos Slade brings home a hound dog puppy named Copper. One day in the woods, Copper and Tod meet and instantly become the best of friends. When fall comes and Amos takes an unwilling Copper along for his winterlong hunting trip, Tod tries to convince his friends, Big Mama, Dinky and Boomer that even though Copper will come back a trained hunting dog, that they will still stay the best of friends. That's when I saw this in a double billing with Barbarella (1968) at West Point, NY. The music is great and it brings back a part of history. Can the Beatles save Pepperland? Remember we all live in a Yellow Submarine. Instead of just buying the soundtrack, buy the movie and you have them both. I guess I will have to buy it also to hear "Hey, Bulldog!" Of course as with most movies there will always be someone one that prefers the original and knows that it was cut that way on purpose. .Barney:Once Upon a Time... We own dozens of tapes! Once Upon A Time is our most recent Barney purchase. Five minutes into tape, when Stella the Story teller came on... My son started shaking, crying and grabbing me. He was truly scared! He has seen Stella in many other videos and has never had a reaction like that! He usually enjoys her. I immediately took the tape out and later that day tried again. Same reaction, only stronger! I put in another Barney video featuring Stella the Story Teller (Time for Counting) and he had no problem... danced and laughed along like always. I must say, that I found nothing scary about the tape but since my son is a true Barney fan, I figure that something is not right. I will not show ... .Celebration of Color City Travel Guides > VHS > Kids and Family December 04, 2001 The wide range of reviews of this video made me decide to check it out from my local library and try it before I buy it. I was happy to find that both my baby and I love it. My baby actually watches it - which surprized me, since he usually only watches videos that have lots of babies and children in them (e.g., the "Signing Time" videos are a favorite). He also dances to the music. As for me, I'm thrilled with the musical selections. Most of the other baby videos I've watched seem to recycle the same classical pieces, but this one has refreshingly different music - and very good choices at that. Some reviewers have complained about the sound quality, but I found nothing wrong with the quality of the video I watched. A few reviewers complained ... Might as well have said Alexander Dumbass. All the kids liked it just like pokemon, but now...its really starting to get lame! I just outgrew it. I mean when shows like outlaw star and trigun came along digimon couldn't compete.
