She knows how to work the stage, and how to work her audience. Her performance on this video release is virtually flawless, and her hardcore fans will certainly love it. The rest of us will enjoy it--I certainly did--but may ultimately find that it is not indispensible. For all her subversive "gender bending," there is something classically "show biz" about lang. Her vocals are powerful, but also rather conventional. There is little about her actual music that is quirky or subversive. .New York Salsa Beginner City Travel Guides > VHS > Music Video and Concerts May 14, 2002 I was a bit hesitant at first to purchase this DVD after a few of the "quality" remarks in a few reviews. By quality, I mean, the physical DVDs... I began figuring they may be "competition" (cause they read as such)or others that received a bad DVD...and didn't bother to return for a new one. I then read some of the other reviews and went for it! I am certainly glad I did! The instruction is very complete and easy to follow. Stone August 11, 1998 Unfortuneately these "collectors" would not be complaining if they only new half of when ,why and where this movie was produced and released.........it was NEVER supposed to be released as The Sound of Music was being released in the same week. Also Florence Hendersons 1st ever singing review. Rhis movie ONLY a collector...for real collect buffs, its never been graded or even edited. Be happy with this original that you have as there are soooo many copies of that out there and even then they are VERY few and far between......... Queen listed the release of this DVD on their web-site about 18 months ago. The article was described how Greatest Flix II had finally made it into South America. Unlike Greatest Hits 2, the videos have NOT been transformed into wide-screen so the pictures have not been squashed. Also, it includes videos from the Innuendo Album Sure, the art work is in Porugese, but the song names are all the same - and so is the music. So don't be fooled. .Ac/Dc: Let There Be Rock City Travel Guides > VHS > Music Video and Concerts starring: Malcolm Young, Angus Young, Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams, Ronald Belford Scott directed by: Eric Dionysius, Eric Mistler April 08, 1997 i got this movie for christmas and it was a dream come true watching it, i am a major AC/DC fan for many years and i had yet to receive let there be rock the movie, when i first got it i watched it 8 times in a row, this show was so amazing, to see bon in the early years live is unreal. plus the rest of the band has much more energy in this show, angus' solos are so amazing in this VHS, also its so crazy when angus breaks his string during whole lotta rosie then he has to go backstage and get a guitar, and someone hands him a new SG but it didnt have a strap. so angus has to play the whole lotta rosie solo with no strap, and the guitar isnt even in proper tune, so angus is playing the solo with no strap and tuning it at the same time, thats true dedication. and then later ... .I Feel Like a Giggle: God Made Me to Laugh & Sing City Travel Guides > VHS > Music Video and Concerts starring: Karyn Henley My kids absolutely LOVED this from age 2 to about 5 or so. The songs are upbeat and easy for them to sing along with, and the stories just capture their attention. Great for the car or anytime.
