So many classics have been ruined like this -- STAR TREK, BURKES LAW, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, TWILIGHT ZONE, GET SMART, and, sadly, KUNG FU. I thought this 1986 film was awful -- then, later, when I watched KUNG FU: THE LEGEND CONTINUES, it didn't seem as bad (NOTHING was as bad as KF:TLC!).
