Il est toujours difficile d'adapter un livre au cinéma mais là franchement...le réalisateur n'a pas dû lire le même livre que moi. Dans le livre le héros est un homme ordinaire et non un lieutenant colonel docteur bac + 34, il picole comme un perdu et ne se muscle pas, il n'a pas de chien (car le chien dans le livre a une toute autre symbolique quand il apparaît), les vampires savent dès le départ où il habite car ils le harcèlent toutes les nuits et même l'un d'entre eux le connaît bien! Malgré l'idée de mutation omniprésente dans l'histoire les vampires ne sont pas pour autant uniquement des effets spéciaux! La fille qui apparaît n'est pas ce qu'elle prétend être et surtout, surtout la fin du film ne RESPECTE ABSOLUMENT ... lire la suite

Bluray avec une image magnifique,une vue sur new york dans le détail extraordinaire.un bluray a conseiller si vous aimez ce genre de film..

Après "Le survivant" incarné par Charlton Heston en 1971, c'est à Will Smith que revient à présent le rôle du colonel Neville dans cette adaptation plus moderne et plus impressionnante de "Je suis une légende".

Les séquences au cours desquelles Neville arpente les rues de New-York dévastée et vidée de toute présence humaine sont réellement saisissantes, avec ces paysages desquels émane le désespoir d'être le seul survivant dans une ville qui devient oppressante et menacante.

Les maquillages des créatures mutantes sont impressionnants sans excès tout comme les effets spéciaux qui restent raisonnables.

D'accord le scénario peut paraître quelque peu simpliste, mais on ne s'ennuie pas car ... lire la suite

Flippant! Suspens. Quand le démon cotoie l'ange... Quand on possède des pouvoirs surnaturels.. En tout cas, cette histoire est vraiment très bien construire, un scénario d'enfer - sans jeux de mots! - et des personnages bien caricaturaux. Un film qui coupe le souffle et, je trouve, c'est un des rares films du genre où l'on ne reste pas sur sa faim! A voir! Absolument.
