 Rating: - A charming, beautiful book that is as magical as it is inspiringBarcode: 9780141383781 At face falue The English Roses seems very much a simple kids' book but being a massive Madonna fan i was intruiged to find out what her books were like and upon reading this i was startled and pleasantly surprised to see there in in fact an immense deal of depth and maturity to be found when you read further into the book. To start, it needs to be said, the book itself is simply gorgeous, well made in a durable hard-cover format and tied up with a pink silk bow. The fonts and illustrations are wonderful and perfectly set the tone of the whole book - one of sugar, sweetness and happiness.
