 Rating: - Simply WonderfulA very simple yet wonderful book. I have spent a large portion of my life in Italy and I remember as a child finding the shrines dotted across the landscape normal.....It wasn't until I was older that I appreciated them for what they were and started to pay more attention to them and what they meant for the people who had them constructed and for the villages they were in. This book gives you a sampling of what it's like to drive through /walk around any part of Italy. Read the book and if you get the chance, when you're in Italy take a good look around and see for yourself. |
