 Rating: - Italian UnificationI am currently studying (and struggling with) Italian Unification at the moment so bought this book in the hope that it would shed some light on what exactly happened during unification, especially seeing as Heinemann is a pretty well known and reliable source. well...I'm not convinced, it has some really useful parts but the majority I found not to be that relevant to what I'm studying and the layout - black and white text, that's it - was a bit scary to plunge in to. If you're really desperate like me then I recommend you give it a go as you might take more from it than I have but bear in mind it's not hugely useful. |
