A very complete and comprehensive coverage of differential equations with their practical applications.

For me the thing that sets this book apart from the myriad of text books on the subject, is the fact that it breaks away from the usual student handbook style of writing. There are no quick reference boxed formulae to remember. I no longer feel like a schoolboy when reading the book, but rather that I am genuinely studying for a higher degree.
