 Rating: - Excellent value for money!An excellently presented and written book highlighting the most significant rail disasters from the early days of the railways to the present day. Excellent diagrams, photographs and informative text describing the lead up to the disaster, what went wrong, how it happened, the aftermath and the lessons learned from each accident. Well worth the money and from amazon's pricing - an even better bargain! Rating: - British Railway DisastersThis is a truly good read.I am not connected to the railway industry in any way but I must confess that I found this very interesting.The book contains a lot of text and some super pictures.It explains exactly how vaious trains came to crash and what action was taken to prevent other accidents occuring.Worth every penny I paid for it and more. |
