Plenty of helpful information, particularly the restaurant recommendations - complete life and budget saver! Maps were sufficiently detailed, so no need to buy extras. My book is extremely well-thumbed. Would definitely recommend this book above others.

They say all roads lead to Rome, but which road do you take once your there??? Buy the Lonely Planet Guide to Rome and bring illumiation to the darker, less seen places in Rome. An essential guide that leads you around the most mystical city in all of Europe. It proved invaluable information on our trip...without it I doubt we would have had such a good time seeing all the sites Rome had to offer!
