 Rating:  - goodWhile this cd is obviously tailored towards a stress filled society and is to be recommended for that I personally enjoy the relaxing music `tears of spring' which I got from amazon.co.uk. The cd I possess have a variety of stunning sounds tailored towards the relaxation market which I can recommend anyone looking into this particular genre. If you like the feeling of floating away from your problems then this cd will do it Rating:  - Great! Finally I get to relax!As a constant worrier I have never before found a CD to help me switch off and relax....until now. For me, this meditainment CD is fabulous. I rarely get past 5 minutes of each track before I drift into a wonderfully relaxed state. I love this CD and am off now to buy another from the range. Rating: - Take it easy .....I just purchased this disc & I am really happy with it. There are 3 sessions on the disc called Relaxation, Happiness & Release. It is narrated by a lady with an English accent in a very calm, quiet & soothing way. I am usually really bad at visualisation meditation, but I found that the direction offered by the narrator and also the sound effects helped greatly - they also help to maintain focus. I received the disc at work & although you are supposed to use it in a quiet place I thought I'd give it a listen while I was working ... even when though I couldn't stop everything and dedicate an hour to this CD I found that the soothing voice, music & sounds helped me to relax. Rating:  - Not very relaxing!I bought a CD from Meditainment before and found the imaginary journeys relaxing and inspiring. Not so with this however, which was unfortunate. I needed the deep relaxation track (the last on the CD) which takes you into a summer garden. The sound effects were pretty effective - too much so in my opinion which spoilt the overall effect for me. The water fountain was so loud that I felt I needed the loo after a few minutes of listening to it tinkle away. Then the woman started talking about the sight and scent of freshly cut grass - as a hay fever sufferer, this made me sneeze (honestly, I am not joking). Read More: Rating: - total relaxationI was recommended this C.D by my therapist when I was suffering with anxiety based depression. I thought she was crazy and that there was no way something like this could work for me. I have never used meditation in my life and as I am very controlling with an unwillingness to let go, so I first used it just to tell my therapist that I had. I was very suprised by it's effect; for twenty minutes I was able to switch off from my thoughts. It did allow me to relax, only for a short time at first but as I used it more I was able to stay calmer for longer. The cd uses breathing and calming exercises to gently move you into a meditive state. It then takes you into a story with music and sound effects. The voice is a female with an english ...
