 Rating:  - A handy pocket-bookAn extremely useful, easy to follow book, which slips easily into pocket or handbag.It covers all a traveller may need. I have used it on several visits to Spain and S. America, and have suggested my daughter buys one as she will be visiting Spain frequently. Rating:  - Always buy phrase books in shops so can can see the print sizeContent may be good; I don't know because I can barely read it. The publishers have used italics and mud coloured ink for the Spanish words/prounciation. OK in bright light from the right direction and if you have very good eyesight. Otherwise its only good feature is it is extremely small (5 X 3.5 ins., very much smaller than it appears in the Amazon search inside feature). This is the second time I've wasted money in this way. Hence the title above. A phrase book should be readable when you need it, not just under ideal conditions. This isn't. I'd rate it zero star if I could. |
