By some distance the best pocket guide we have ever used. A perfect accompaniment to our city break. Restaurant listings very very helpful for vegetarians - found some amazing places we never would have known about.

Simply not that good.

This book provides interesting background on Valencia bust is very inaccurate in places.
The reviews of restaurants and hotels flatters some very average places. Information about the beaches was incorrect.
Free local guides available in many restaurants and bars provided better information and reviews of local entertainment

Without doubt this is one of the best city guides I have ever had the pleasure to stumble across. It's informative, witty and incredibly easy to navigate. Although tiny enough to carry around without even noticing a bulge in the pocket, its information was far more extensive than other guides I referred to, and the maps were easily the most lucid style I have found. Highly recommended.
