 Rating: - Solid advanced organic chem teaching aid.This book is great for: - Advanced undergraduates - Post-graduates doing organic chemistry It shows you how to make various compounds, discusses the strategies and let's you have a go at devising your own. Very nicely written. Worth the money. Oh, and if you belong to a research group that meets every so often for problem classes, then this is a nice source of problems to present to your fellow students. There is a second volume to this which has come out, which I understand is also good, although I don't own it. Volumes I and II are stand-alones. |
