 Rating:  - Ironing? No longer a chore!We decided to invest in a decent iron after our existing one (a much cheaper/ older Phillips model) had pretty much given up the ghost! We purchased this on offer saving over £30 and I would say in was very much worth the investment! It heats up quickly, great jets of steam, excellent glide off the ceramic sole plate and it also looks pretty cool! Rating: - Dashing away with the smoothing ironHaving read all the reviews I decided to go for it and likewise I can't believe how good it is, it just glides over the clothes without effort, no leaning on it to get the creases out, so job done in half the time. I bought a DeLonghi iron of similar price a couple of months ago and decided it was rubbish, dripped water everywhere, didn't get hot enough or give off enough steam - so back of the cupboard for that one as an all else fails and on with the new one. Brilliant! Rating: - Ironing queenNever thought it would come to this - writing a review about an iron, but it has to be done. This iron is great! Good steam, not too heavy and doesnt spit brown gunk and overload our power circuits like the previous ones did. This purchase was against the 'advice' of my mother (the ironing supremo!) but even she likes it! It must be good... The ceramic plate makes all the difference. The difference is so obvious when you use this to iron! It irons so smooth you think your shirts has come out of the dry cleaners. Easy to use and operate also for people like me who are not very good in ironing anyways!! Rating: - Excellent!I purchased this iron when my old one broke one evening, I didn't have much time to search out the best one, so based on reviews this is the one I picked. I paid extra for 1st class postage, and I'm pleased to say I did recieve it the next day. The iron itself is very robust. Excellent to look at, with a blue light that shines when it's on. There is a small jug with it which makes pouring water into it easier. I don't find it uses any more water than my previous Tefal iron. I am very happy with my purchase, I find ironing very easy with it, and the clothes I iron stay creaseless. The bedspread looked amazing after ironing with the Philips!!
