Truly brilliant book - great tasty recipes that really do help you plan mealtimes and eat very well - but the added bonus is that you don't need to slave for hours in the kitchen. This book is bursting with ideas and has already made a huge difference in time saving for me. Love it!

I really can't believe it. Over the last few years I'd started using more and more ready meals because I couldn't face cooking after a long day at work. But since getting this book a couple of months ago I've been totally converted. I now have the pancakes with blueberries for breakfast at the weekend and tonight popped into the kitchen and in 10 minutes had the croissent pudding in the oven - its fabulously tasty. Everything really is cooked in the blink of an eye. There are a couple of recipies that you have to do a couple of times to get them done really quickly, but once you're used to them there are even more short-cuts that you can make. Added benefits are that my shopping bill is drastically reduced, I feel much better for eating home cooked meals and the smell of cooking in the house especially on the cold winter evenings just finishes everything off perfectly.

I have other cookery books which include 'fast' meals, but I rarely have the ingredients in the cupboard - this one's different. The recipes are fast, effective and generally made from the existing contents of my cupboard. As a working mum, I recommend this book - You can prepare meals quickly and eat well and even better you no longer have to watch a beautifully made-up Nigella pouting into the camera!

Christmas present, quick dispatch, well packaged and arrived in mint condition. Good to shop without the crowds.

Normally one to choose a "real" book like MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL or even the hilarious ME TALK PRETTY ONE DAY by Sedaris, I read EXPRESS . . . and not because I bought it, but because someone gave it to me! Love it. Fast food, easily prepared and not at all a hassle. if you want your kids to eat right, this is the place to start. Would also recommend the book DON'T STOP ME NOW for another good read.
