- This does work.
This cd really does put you to sleep. If you are one of the many, who finds it difficult to shut off or quiet your mind, and as soon as your head hits the pillow, it is like flicking on a switch as thoughts begin racing through the little grey cells and flood your mind with all kinds of 'stuff' - I think the technical term is Sleep-Onset Insomnia - then this cd could really help you.
There are 2 tracks, one male and one female vocal. All you need to do is follow the instructions by focusing on the voice at all times, (which are very soothing and easy to follow voices) and you will fall to sleep naturally. It's like being gently lulled to sleep in a relaxing and serene way, calmness reigns and the mind is quiet as you drift off.
It does work for me, try it, you have nothing to lose, only the possibility of gaining a few more precious zzz's

I thought I would try one of these Relaxation/meditation CDs to help me relax and sleep. It certainly helps you relax but more effort is required if you want to fall into a deep sleep. It's important to listen to the CD in the right conditions- a noisy environment or over active mind limit it's effects.
The quality of the voices, backing music and effects is very good. You have a male voice on the first track, which is aimed at helping you relax, and a female voice for the the second track which is aimed at sending you into a deep sleep.
If you are new to this kind of thing I would recommend you try this CD- it may be the only one you need.

Wonderful.......Only listened to this once, with my children (7 & 10) but the outcome was wonderful! 'Sleep' lasts for 23 mins, after only 10 mins the children were asleep and they were very much awake when we started to listen! I heard it through but was in the land of nod in under 3 mins.
If you are having trouble sleeping, or getting to sleep, this CD is definately worth a try.

I've tried similar CD's before - the kind that promise to have you slumbering wihtin minutes - but this beats them all. Rest + Sleep not only genuinely helped me to relax but I really did find myself drifitng off to a peacful and distrubance free sleep. Whilst the sessions don't last as long as others I have tried, the sound quality is better than any I have come across and I'm sure it will help others who feel stressed out and restless when it comes to bedding down.
