- An essential companion for walking in these areas!
My girlfriend and I have just returned from a holiday in Italy during which we spent time in Sorrento, Amalfi and Capri. We always intended to do a bit of walking and, having been recommended this book through a guide book, we bought it through Amazon.
We found it indispensable for exploring these beautiful areas of Italy. In particular, we were impressed by the way that the book described "segments" of walks so that you are able to devise a walk yourself by joining up adjacent segments. I have never come across a walking guide book laid out in this fashion before. In addition the segments are described both in terms of walking from A to B and also from B to A, further increasing the flexibility for the walker.
I was a little wary about walking in a foreign country with no map, but the directions were always very clear and easy to follow.
