i rate this cd and book for those learners who find languages in general difficult. if you don't want the hassle of the verbs and pronouns and just want to learn some phrases to get by QUICK then this is the one for you. i like the way you have the chance to repeat the phrases with the presenter many times. the music does make it easier and actually quite relaxing. i have a head start more than most with greek cypriot in-laws but i still rate it.

The product is well presented and easy to use. I love the idea of the langauge being set to music and find I can pick up a lot of the language very easy.
The volume gives basic get around Greek and should have you ordering drinks and food in no time. I like the fact it's done at an easy pace as other systems I've tried tend to be very fast and picking up words can be a labour. All in all one of the better Language starter systems around.
If you listen at night be prepared to fall asleep as the voices are very smooth :)

I found putting music to learning a new language an easy way of picking up a new language. I listened to this cd mostly in the car with the children and was surprised how much we remembered. They asked for the bill in our local Greek restaurants, etc. The music jogs your memory much like to putting words to a song. As a family we regularly visit Cyprus and were pleased how many words and phrases we could recall. If you really want to learn a new language I would highly recomend this cd and wordbook.We are now investing in the French to help our son with his school work.
