.Broken Bodies by: June Hampson February 21, 2008 I didn't find this book entertaining. The first 100 pages were boring and I only perservered because i was interested in the gangster characters ie the Krays etc featuring. I thought the style was peculiarly old fashioned and the characters just didn't gel for me. The likes of prostitutes, gangsters, boxers, paedaohiles and, market holders did not sit well with the plot. Sorry but i was deeply unimpressed. I would not recommend the book to anyone who enjoys a well constructed thriller such s written by James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, etc, its simply not in the same league. The only pleasing thing is that I swapped the book for another i had read at Hotel whilst on holiday ! so happy not to have forked out any money for it >>See More Reviews & Details on Broken Bodies |
