.Music Theory in Practice: Grade 8 by: J. Webb, Peter Aston December 02, 1993 The book doesn't cover everything needed to know to pass the Grade 6 ABRSM Theory. My teacher, and other theory books, brought up things that i didn't know anything about - and I've been religiously studing G6 as my intention is to get to G8 & then pass the diploma. After i couldn't find things my teacher looked and he couldn't find them either. I don't usually criticize books like this but G1-5 covered everything - i got a distinction for G5 (which i'm really proud of - as you can see). So how do the ABRSM expect you to get good grades if they don't cover everything you need to know ? Peter Aston & Julian Webb, the authors, haven't done a good job in writing this ...
