I bought this Dyson in 2001 and paid about £220. It has been fairly reliable during this time but considering that it is only used on average once a week for half an hour does not equate to an awful lot of use.
When I first purchased the machine I was very impressed with its cleaning abilities. The amount of dust that it picks up is staggering, I thought my carpets were clean until I saw what was in the dust container. The hose was also very long which enabled me to get to the top of the stairs. The initial things I didn't like was that its hard to get into corners but to be fair this is a problem for all uprights. It is also fairly heavy which is not a problem for me but would be for the elderly. It is also very noisy. All went well ... Read More:
