. Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater
by: prepared, published jointly American Public Health Association, American Water Works Association, Water Environment Federation, Lenore S. Clesceri, Arnold E. Greenberg, Andrew D. Eaton, Mary Ann H. Franson
1999-01
This is the most accepted methods book in the water and wastewater analysis. However, the methods are not critically evaluated as to their performance. For example, the chlorine specific electrode method does not give its performance rating as compared to amperometric titration. This is a problem, sice permit writers may specify the method in permits, while the method cannot meet the stringent requirements.
