.Years of Expansion: British History, 1815-1914 (Years Of...) by: Michael Byrne, Clive Behagg, David Cooper, Edward Townley, Michael Scott-Baumann March 01, 2002 I have to disagree with the previous reviewer. This book is not "long-winded", rather I think it provides students with an excellent background to the subject.
