You'll need other books for 2nd and 3rd year, but you will keep refering to this book even then. Overall, a very good textbook. .Molecular Biology Made Simple and Fun by: David P. Clark, Lonnie Dee Russell 1997-03 Excelent book, It has a few cartoons to lighten the reading. By the title you can gather its contents is not difficult, but it makes the difficult subject of molecular biology easy to understand before attempting a more advanced testbook. I would recommend its use upto second year university just to recap anything you may have forgotton over the summer.
