.Blue Guide Sicily (Blue Guides) by: Ellen Grady June 23, 2006 I bought this book hoping for a departure from the Lonely Planet and Rough Guide type of guide. Going by the other two reviews here I felt the Blue Guide would fit the bill exactly. Sadly, I sent it back as it was unsuitable for our planned trip as it centres pretty heavily on the historical, writing in fantastic detail about the Roman ruins etc. but for us, way too much. It is also very dense and almost impenatratable if you just want a casual look-see over a cup of coffee.
