Fantastic book with hundreds of excellent recipes for all occasions. Not a pitiful showcase of a book - this is hardcore!

I saw this book on my best friends kitchen shelf. Every time I'm in her kitchen I look for a recipe to add to my long list of recipes. I've finally decided to buy my own copy. I like the fact that I don't need a massive list of ingredients to create really tasty food. I defy anyone not to find this book a revolution in gourmet cooking.

I had never grown or used herbs before.
Now I have my own herb garden - much to my husbands disgust (less space for lupins!!)
I have used this book for growing, cooking and beauty and health! Really useful and worth it's weight!

This book is a nice book but I do agree with the above review that it is nothing special. The best thing in the book is the recipe for white chocolate fudge icing, which is delicious and I use all of the time. All the actual recipes produce nice results. The decorative ideas are ok. It would be a nice book to give to a child as a present, or for someone with children. But as far as books about fairy cakes go, there are better ones out there.

This book is a nice book but I do agree with the above review that it is nothing special. This book surpassed my expectations. I had the sweet potato and goat's cheese recipe at a friend's place and was so impressed, I immediately bought it. Every recipe has been absolutely mouthwateringly delicious!

Very very disappointing. A poor adaptation of a "hand-made" bread recipe book converted to a bread machine book, by virtue of the addition of the words at the start of each recipe "place all ingredients in your bread maker bucket in order specified by the manufacturer". Less informative than the instruction booklet received with my bread machine. I was tempted into purchasing this book a) by its Title and b) by the resume given of the recipes. Have passed the book to a friend who bakes her own bread and begun a new search for a proper bread machine recipe book.
