Have you ever tried to read a book but found that every time you reach the end of a page you are unable to remember a word of what you have just read? When this happens the problem is usually either: (a) that you are not concentrating properly and allowing your mind to wander, (b) that the book is not written well, or (c) that the book does not somehow speak to you, e.g., it may use unfamiliar language or may be written in such a way that you cannot relate to what it is saying.

The Rough Guides rarely disappoint. They are thorough and interesting. My only complaint is that Murcia, as usual in guidebooks like this, just doesn't get the treatment it deserves. I always buy the most recent edition, but suggest you can probably skip an edition now and then!

I use this textbook and its previous edition to teach International Business to senior level students in cyberspace. I consider this the most readable text on the subject. This edition has been slimmed down from the previous edition, and it is an improvement to an excellent text. My students agree that this text is great.

Anyone who needs a comprehensive book on this field should purchase this text, it is worth every penny!

This book is ok for generic CVs etc. but as a graduate having just come out of university all I ended up with was a pompous arrogant sounding CV. I only realised this when I went to a graduate website (Prospects) and downloaded a couple of their free sample CVs. If only I had done this 3 months ago I would have saved myself alot of time, effort, rejection and 6 quid. I didn't really need this book, all I needed was an example of someone else's CV so I could work on mine! Simple as that.
I didn't like this book, it was too vague and not realistic enough
