This is yet another of Lilian Harry's book's which show's the lives of ordinary people through the last months of WW11.
Its a lovely read as so many are from this author.I couldnt put it down.I reccomened it as with all her books.

If you enjoy a gentle,nostelgic book of village life than this is for you it follows on from "The Bells of Burracombe though you dont have to read this first.I enjoyed this book and if you have read "lilian Harry " books before then you will be familar with her style of writing and this book will not let you down.Also good for fans of The miss Read books.In short a nice book on the everyday life of a 1950`s village.

I really enjoyed this audio book. I've listened to some books before where all the characters end up sounding the same and I switch off after a bit, but this reading, (actually it felt like a dramatisation, more like a play), was very engaging and painted the myriad characters with lots of country colour. As with all the best audio books, I could really 'see' what was going on. The reader's talent for characters was really shown off in this charming interpretation. I shall be exploring Lillian Harry's work further as a result. A really happy listen! More please, Ms Harry...

I really enjoyed this audio book. Being a great fan of Lilian Harry, I knew this trilogy would be good. "The Corner House Girls" introduces you to all the characters and their different backgrounds. "Kiss the Girls Goodbye" gives you an incite of what happens once the Second World War has started and "PS I Love You" tells you what the girls get up to whilst the boys are away fighting.

I have to say that "PS I Love You" was my favourite of the trilogy and found that I did not want to put the book down, as I was wishing to know what happened next. I loved the meaning of the title (you will have to read it to find out!) I will not spoil your enjoyment by saying what happened in the end, but it was a brilliant read from start to finish.
