.Bratislava (The Bradt City Guide) by: Lucy Mallows December 01, 2005 This book is not too bad though it is a little focused on the city in the summer time. If you visit in the winter then you will find many of the opening times incorrect. The history section is especially interesting. But, as most places in the old eastern block, Bratislava is developing quite fast and the information on eating and entertainment has many errors. .Slovakia (Bradt Travel Guide) (Bradt Travel Guide Slovakia) by: Lucy Mallows April 15, 2007 I just bought this guide book and I was very impressed by the detail. I have never found another guide that dealt with Slovakia in such a thorough manner. It has been well-researched and well-written and includes some interesting and amusing boxes on Slovak culture and history. I am thrilled that somebody has finally discovered the Slovak countryside, especially the regions in the east.
