We have also been to Verona in the past and this book is informative on both cities. Did not make it as far as the lakes so cannot speak about previous reviews. .The Rough Guide to Europe 2002 from: Rough Guides Ltd June 12, 2001 This book is the worst guide book I have ever purchased, it is confusing and really useless. For example, p.499 the Abszint restaurant is at VI Andrassy Ut 34, but the street is over 1km long from East to West, so where is the beginning of the street ?? it does not tell you which metro station you should get off to reach the place. You have only 50-50 chance to get it right !! Another example, p.397 Restaurant Rissani in Berlin ( Spreewaldplatz 4, Kreuberg), this guide book only tells you the address and in general there is no way you can find the place unless you spend over 10 mins or even half hour to work it out !
